Every four years, the Democratic Party puts together our party platform, the ideas and beliefs that govern our party as a whole.
What follows is our 2020 platform — our most progressive platform in our party’s history and a declaration of how we plan to move America forward. Democrats believe that cooperation is better than conflict, unity is better than division, empowerment is better than resentment, and bridges are better than walls.
It’s a simple but powerful idea: We Are Stronger Together Our Party is one of inclusiveness, diversity, compassion, educational, economic opportunities, and a party of responsible leadership. We believe in CHANGE THAT MATTERS. We continue to work for a better tomorrow, and a better Davidson County.
DCDW is an auxiliary of the Democratic Women of North Carolina. The membership is open to women who enjoy the fellowship and support of women who are active in political roles, and supportive of the Democratic stance of North Carolina. If you are interested in moving the party forward, enjoy fundraising, voter education, and helping give direct support to candidates, well these are all good reasons to join the club. The membership is also open to Men and we welcome you to join!
The Davidson County Democratic Women meet monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
Monthly meetings are being held virtually for the moment. Please contact below for more information!
